ABOUT US

The Jemimah Noonoo Foundation (JNF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities through education, healthcare, and sustainable development—beginning with Anomabo, a coastal town in Ghana’s Central Region.

Founded in loving memory of Jemimah Noonoo, the Foundation is led by her sister, Eunice Cromwell, RN, FNP, along with family and volunteers who are committed to continuing Jemimah’s legacy of service.

JNF provides school supplies, organizes medical screenings, distributes essential resources like PPE, and supports long-term infrastructure projects such as a community settlement center. Our mission is to uplift lives, especially those of women, children, and the elderly, through access to quality education, basic healthcare, and tools for self-reliance.

We believe real change starts when communities are given the power and resources to grow from within.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to honor the legacy of Jemimah Noonoo by empowering underserved communities through:

  • Education – Providing school supplies, uniforms, and digital learning tools to foster academic excellence.

  • Healthcare – Offering free medical screenings, health education, and access to essential care.

  • Community Development – Building sustainable infrastructure that supports long-term growth, including a settlement center for education, health, and agriculture.

  • Women & Youth Empowerment – Creating opportunities for girls, women, and young people to lead change in their communities.

We are driven by love, compassion, and the belief that sustainable impact starts with empowering people at the grassroots.

OUR VISION

To create self-sustaining, empowered communities where every child has access to quality education, every family receives the healthcare they deserve, and every individual—regardless of background—has the opportunity to thrive with dignity, purpose, and hope.

We envision a future where underserved communities are not only supported, but equipped with the tools, resources, and opportunities to shape their own destinies. Through grassroots empowerment and long-term development, we aim to spark transformation that lasts for generations.

RECENT CAUSES

At the Jemimah Noonoo Foundation, every cause we take on reflects our deep commitment to uplifting communities and creating meaningful, lasting change. Our recent efforts include distributing school uniforms to young learners, organizing large-scale medical outreaches, and providing essential health education and screenings for families who need it most.

These causes are more than projects—they are personal missions to ensure that no child is left behind in education, no mother lacks access to healthcare, and no community is forgotten. With the support of our donors and volunteers, we continue to respond to real needs with compassion, urgency, and purpose.
